Commitment to Sustainability
Our materials were chosen based on the belief that premium performance and environmental responsibility belong together.
Coconut PU Topper
The surface of every Directional Yoga mat is made from coconut-derived polyurethane (PU) — a non toxic bio-based alternative to conventional synthetic surfaces. Coconut PU delivers exceptional grip, moisture resistance, and durability, while drawing on a renewable, rapidly regenerating resource. Unlike petroleum-based foams and coatings, coconut PU reduces reliance on fossil fuels and produces a lower-impact surface that holds up through years of daily practice.

Natural Rubber Base
Our mats are grounded in a natural rubber base, tapped from rubber trees without harming the tree itself. Natural rubber is biodegradable, renewable, and provides the dense, non-slip foundation that keeps your mat stable on any surface. It's a material that has been trusted for generations.
Mat Lifespan & Care
Extending the life of your mat is one of the most impactful things you can do for the environment. Here's how to keep your Directional Yoga mat in optimal condition.
Clean regularly: Wipe top of mat with a microfiber cloth after use. If using a cleaning solution, apply it to the cloth first ; do not apply it directly on the mat. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners and essential oils that can degrade the surface.
Air dry: Lay flat or hang to dry in a shaded area. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can break down natural rubber and color over time.
Roll, don't fold: Always roll your mat with the top surface facing out to prevent creasing.
Store properly: Keep your mat in a cool, dry place away from heat sources when not in use.
With proper care, your Directional Yoga mat is designed to accompany your practice for many years.
Thank you for choosing a mat that reflects your values as much as your practice.
